Every form you build in Cornerspot starts from a set of team defaults — the fields it begins with, how labels sit next to inputs, and the text people see when they submit. As a team admin you can change those defaults so brand-new forms already match how your team works, instead of editing the same things on every form. This guide walks through the Default Settings tab: the default fields, the default layout, and the default details.
Where to find form defaults
Open Forms from the left-hand menu, then go to Form Settings and the Default Settings tab. (You can also go straight there at /dashboard/forms-hub/settings/defaults.) Only team admins can edit these — everyone else sees them read-only.

Default fields
The Default fields card lists the fields a brand-new, blank form begins with — by default First name, Last name, and Email. You can shape this starting set:
- Add a field with the Add field button at the bottom of the card, then set its label, source, width, and whether it's required.
- Reorder fields by dragging the handle on the left of each row.
- Duplicate or Delete a field from its row's actions menu (the three-dot button on the right).
- Reset to default restores the standard set — First name, Last name, and Email — if you want to start over. It does not change existing forms.

Default layout
The Default layout card controls how labels sit next to inputs on new forms. Pick one of three options:
- Stacked — labels above inputs.
- Horizontal — labels beside inputs.
- Floating — labels inside inputs.

Default details
The Default details card sets the copy new forms start with: the Submit button text, the Success message shown after a successful submission, and an optional Redirect URL that sends visitors to another page instead of the success message. These are starting points — you can still change each one per form.

Save your defaults
When you're happy, click Save defaults in the bar at the bottom of the page. From then on, every new form starts from these settings — and you can still adjust the fields, layout, and details on any individual form afterward.

Good to know
- Defaults only affect new forms — changing them never edits forms you've already built.
- Anything here can be overridden per form in that form's builder and settings.
- Only team admins can edit defaults; other members can view them but not change them.
