How to set a form's submit button text, success message, and redirect URL in CornerSpot

Filling in a form is only half the experience — what happens after someone submits matters just as much. In Cornerspot you control three things per form: the text on the submit button, the success message people see when their submission goes through, and an optional redirect URL that sends them onward to another page instead. This guide shows where to set each one.

Where these settings live

Each form has its own copy of these settings, and they start from your team defaults — so you can tweak them per form without touching anything else. You'll find them in the form's own settings panel.

1. Open the form's Settings

From a form's detail page, click ⚙ Settings in the top-right. A panel slides in from the right with the form's options.

2. Find the Details section

In the Form Settings panel, scroll to the Details section. This is where the submit button text, success message, and redirect URL all live, alongside the form's name, slug, and description.

3. Set the Submit Button Text

Edit the Submit Button Text to whatever your visitors should click — for example "Subscribe me", "Request a demo", or "Send". It defaults to Submit.

4. Write the Success Message

The Success Message is what people see once their submission is received. Write something that confirms what happens next — it defaults to "Thank you for your submission."

5. Add a Redirect URL (optional)

If you'd rather send visitors to another page than show the success message, add a Redirect URL — for instance a dedicated thank-you page. Leave it blank to keep showing the success message. The redirect must be a valid web address (starting with https://).

Good to know

  • These settings are per form — changing them here only affects this form. New forms start from your team defaults.
  • A redirect URL takes priority over the success message: if it's set, visitors are sent to that page after they submit.
  • The redirect must be a valid web address — Cornerspot won't save an incomplete or malformed URL.
  • Want to change the starting values for every new form? Set them under Default details in your Form Settings defaults.
