Live Chat lets you talk to website visitors and customers in real time and route every conversation into one shared inbox. This guide gives you a quick tour of the Live Chat hub at /dashboard/chat so you know where everything lives before you dive in.
The Live Chat hub
Open Live Chat from the sidebar (or go to /dashboard/chat) to reach the hub. It's home base for the whole feature, and it's built around two tiles plus a section that shows you where your chat widget runs.

1. The Inbox tile
The Inbox tile is where you do the day-to-day work of Live Chat: review incoming conversations, manage your operator presence, and reply to visitors. It carries a live “{n} open” badge so you can see at a glance how many conversations are waiting for a response right now.

2. The Live Chat Settings tile
The Live Chat Settings tile is where you configure the widget itself — its branding (colors, launcher, and wording), the embedding instructions for adding it to other sites, your allowed domains, and your identify secret. You'll find a dedicated tab for each of these inside settings.

Where the chat widget shows up
Lower on the hub, the “Where the chat widget shows up” section explains the three surfaces the same widget runs on. Wherever a visitor finds you, the conversation lands in the same Live Chat Inbox.

- Your Cornerspot website — turn the widget on from the Website Builder and it appears on every page, styled to match your branding automatically.
- The Members Portal — let signed-in customers reach you from inside the portal; the portal's addresses are authorized for you automatically.
- Any external website you embed it on — add your site's hostname to your allowed domains and paste the loader snippet to run the same widget anywhere.
Because all three surfaces share one inbox, your team handles every conversation in the same place — no matter where it started.
Plan availability
Live Chat is available on plans that include the feature. If your current plan doesn't include it, the hub shows an upgrade prompt instead of the inbox and settings, with an option to add Live Chat to your plan. Once it's included, the full hub above is available to your team.
