The Activity Log is Cornerspot's audit trail — an append-only record of every team-member action across your workspace. Admins use it to see who changed what, and when. This guide shows you how to review and export it.
How to audit your team with the Activity Log
The Activity Log is an admin-only page. It's read-only and append-only, so entries can never be edited or removed — which makes it a trustworthy record. Even opening the page is itself audited.
1. Open the Activity Log
From your Account Settings, open the Activity Log (at /dashboard/settings/activity). It's described as an "Append-only record of every team-member action. Viewing this page is itself audited."

2. Read the table columns
Each entry is one row, with five columns:
- When — the time the action occurred (hover to see the exact timestamp).
- Actor — the teammate who performed it (their name and email).
- Action — what they did, shown as a badge.
- Target — the record they touched, with its type and a short ID.
- IP — the IP address the action came from.

3. Scan the action badges
The Action column uses colour-coded badges — created, updated, deleted, and more — so the type of each change stands out at a glance as you scan the log.

4. Filter to find what you need
Use the filters above the table to narrow the log:
- Action, Actor, and Entity type dropdowns.
- An Entity ID box to focus on a single record.
- A date range (since / until) to bound the period.
Active filters appear as removable chips, with a "Clear all" option to reset them.

5. Export to CSV
Click Export CSV to download the entries matching your current filters. This is handy for offline record-keeping, compliance reviews, or sharing a slice of the log outside Cornerspot.

6. A read-only, append-only record
The log can't be edited or deleted — entries are only ever added. That's what makes it dependable for auditing: nothing can be quietly changed after the fact.

Tips for auditing your team
- Combine the Actor and date range filters to review one teammate's actions over a period.
- Filter by Action (for example, deleted) to focus on the changes that matter most.
- To dig into a single event — including a Before/After comparison of the fields that changed — open its detail drawer with the chevron at the end of the row.
- Only admins can reach the Activity Log, so the audit trail stays in trusted hands.
