How to view recent payments from your CornerSpot dashboard

The Recent Payments widget on your dashboard home gives you a quick, at-a-glance feel for the money coming in — each recent payment's customer, the method they used, and the amount. It's a handy daily check that complements the full payment history on each invoice and in the member portal. This guide shows you where to find it and how to read it.

How to view recent payments from your dashboard

The widget lives on your dashboard home alongside your other widgets. If you don't see it yet, you can add it from the dashboard's widget library (see below).

1. Open your dashboard home

From anywhere in Cornerspot, head to your Dashboard. This is your home view, made up of widgets you can rearrange and customize.

2. Find the Recent Payments widget

Look for the Recent Payments widget. It lists your most recent completed payments, newest first, so you can see the latest activity without leaving the dashboard.

3. Read a payment row

Each row shows the customer who paid, the method they used (such as Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Check, or Cash), and the amount paid. A small icon on the left hints at how they paid — a card, bank, or transfer icon — so you can scan the list quickly.

4. When there's nothing to show

If no payments have come in yet, the widget simply reads “No recent payments.” As soon as a payment is recorded — whether you log it manually or a customer pays online — it appears here.

Adding the widget if you don't see it

The Recent Payments widget is part of the dashboard's widget library. If it isn't on your home view, click Add widget in the dashboard toolbar, search for “Recent Payments,” and add it. You can then drag it where you like and resize it while in Customize mode.

Where the data comes from

  • The widget reflects completed payments across your invoices — both manual payments you record and online payments your customers make.
  • It's a summary view. For the full record of a single invoice's payments, open that invoice and check its Payments card.
  • Your customers see their own payment history in the member portal's Receipts page.
  • To accept online card and bank payments (so payments flow in automatically), connect a payment processor (Stripe) from the Payments settings — see the Payments guides.
