The Make a payment page is the shortest path your customers have to settling what they owe you. It gathers every open and overdue invoice in one list, each with its own Pay button straight into secure checkout. This guide tours the page from the customer's side, so you know exactly what they see and can point them to it.
Where customers find the Make a payment page
The page lives at /pay in your members portal. It isn't in the portal sidebar: customers reach it from the Make a payment button on an invoice, or from a link you send them. Its subtitle reads “Pay a specific invoice or your total balance due.”
1. Customers sign in to your portal
Everything here happens behind sign-in, in the members portal you already run. Your branding, logo, and colors carry through, so the payment experience looks like yours rather than a third party's.

2. Open Make a payment
The page opens on a simple header, Make a payment, and gets straight to the point. If the customer happens to owe nothing, they see a friendly “You're all paid up” message with “No outstanding invoices” instead of a list, so there's never a dead end.

3. Review the outstanding invoices
The Outstanding invoices card lists each open or overdue bill. Every row shows the invoice description, its number, the due date, the amount due, and a status pill (for example Open or Overdue), so customers can see at a glance what's owed and what's late.

4. Pay an invoice
Each row has its own Pay button. It opens that invoice with the Pay Invoice checkout already showing, which is the same secure checkout customers get from the invoice page itself. Paying one invoice never affects the others: the row simply drops off the list once it's settled.

5. Payments are processed by Stripe
Below the list, a short note confirms that “All payments are encrypted and processed by Stripe.” Card details are entered in Stripe's checkout and never touch your Cornerspot account, so you get the payment without ever handling the card number.

How this fits with the rest of billing
- Connect Stripe first: The Pay button needs a connected Stripe account. Until you connect one, customers can view invoices but not pay online (see the Payments guides).
- Invoices: The portal's Invoices section is the fuller view, where customers can open any single invoice, paid or unpaid, and pay it there.
- Receipts: Once an invoice is paid, its receipt appears on the customer's Receipts page, which they can download as a PDF without asking you.
