Keeping a strong, unique password on your Cornerspot account is one of the simplest ways to stay secure. You can change your password any time from the Password section of your profile. This guide shows you how.
How to change your password in Cornerspot
Your name, email, and password live on Your profile at /dashboard/profile — reached from the user menu in the bottom-left of your sidebar. Scroll to the Password section to update your sign-in password.
1. Open the Password section
On Your profile, find the Password section. Its subheading reminds you that “Other sessions for your account will be signed out.” when you change your password.
2. Enter your current password
Type your Current password first. This confirms it’s really you before any change is made.
3. Choose a new password
Enter a New password in the next field. It must be at least 12 characters, as the hint under the field notes. Pick something strong and unique that you don’t use anywhere else.
4. Confirm the new password
Re-type the same new password in Confirm new password. Both new-password fields must match before you can save.
5. Save the change
Click Change password to save. Cornerspot confirms the change and your new password takes effect immediately.
What happens when you change your password
- Other sessions are signed out: For your safety, changing your password signs out every other session on your account — so you’ll need to sign in again on your other devices with the new password.
- It applies right away: The new password takes effect immediately; there’s no separate confirmation step.
- This session stays signed in: The device you change it on keeps its session, so you won’t be logged out of the page you’re using.
Tips for a strong password
- Use at least 12 characters — longer is stronger.
- Make it unique to Cornerspot; never reuse a password from another site.
- Mix in letters, numbers, and symbols, and consider a password manager to store it safely.
- Every Cornerspot sign-in also asks for a one-time email code, so two-factor protection backs up your password automatically.
