Beyond the fields it collects, every Cornerspot form has a handful of submission settings that control how it behaves: whether someone can submit more than once, whether you verify their email, and whether each submission creates a contact in your CRM. They live in one place, and they apply wherever the form is published. This guide walks through each one.
Where submission settings live
Open a form, click Settings in the top-right of the builder, and scroll to the Details section. Everything below the form's name controls how submissions are handled.
1. Open Forms and your form
From the dashboard, select Forms in the left-hand menu, then open the form you want to configure. You'll land in its Builder.

2. Open Settings
Click Settings in the top-right to open the Form Settings panel, then find the Details section. This is where the submission settings live.

The submission settings
Multiple per browser
Multiple per browser decides whether the same browser can submit the form more than once. It's on by default. When you turn it off, a browser that has already submitted sees your confirmation message (or redirect) instead of the form again — handy for one-response forms like a single RSVP.

Multiple per email and Email verification
These two settings only apply when your form collects an email, so they're available once the form has an Email field.
- Multiple per email (on by default) controls whether the same email address can submit again. When off, a repeat submission from an email that already submitted is acknowledged but not recorded again.
- Email verification (off by default) asks submitters to confirm a code emailed to them before the submission is recorded. It adds a step, but it cuts spam and confirms you can reach them by email.

Create Contact
Create Contact is on by default. With it on, Cornerspot matches each submission to an existing contact by email or phone, and if there's no match it creates a new contact as a lead — so submissions feed straight into your CRM. Turn it off to record only the submission and create no contact. This applies wherever the form is published.

Save your settings
When your choices look right, click Save settings. They take effect immediately, on every channel the form is published to.

Good defaults to start from
- Leave Create Contact on if you want submissions in your CRM — it's the whole point of a lead form.
- Turn off Multiple per browser for one-response forms (a single RSVP, a one-time signup).
- Turn on Email verification when spam or deliverability matters — just remember it adds a confirmation step for the submitter.
- The email-dependent settings need an Email field on the form; add one in the builder if you don't see them enabled.
