When you invite a teammate, they stay in the Invited state until they accept. While an invitation is still pending, you have two ways to manage it from the teammate’s detail panel: Resend invitation re-sends the email, and Void invitation cancels the existing link. This guide shows you when and how to use each.
Resend vs. void — which one do you need?
- Resend invitation — use this when the original email was lost, never arrived, or expired, and the person still needs to join. It sends the same invitation again.
- Void invitation — use this when the invite was sent in error, to the wrong address, or is no longer needed. It stops the existing invitation link from working.
Both actions live under Manage access on a teammate’s detail panel, and only appear while their status is still Invited. Managing invitations is an admin action.
1. Open Team Members and find the pending invite
From your Account Settings, open the Team Members tile (at /dashboard/settings/team-members). Look for the teammate whose status still shows Invited — that’s an invitation that hasn’t been accepted yet.

2. Open the teammate’s detail panel
Click the teammate’s row to open their detail panel. It slides in from the right and includes a Manage access section with the actions available for their current status.

3. Resend the invitation
Under Manage access, click Resend invitation (“Send the invitation email again.”). Cornerspot emails the invite again and confirms with “Invitation resent to {email}.” The teammate stays in the Invited state — nothing else changes.

4. The invitation is re-sent
That’s all there is to resending — there’s no extra confirmation step. The recipient gets a fresh copy of the same invitation email.

5. Void the invitation instead
If the invite shouldn’t have gone out, click Void invitation (“Stop the existing invitation link from working.”) under Manage access.

6. Confirm the void
A Void invitation? dialog asks you to confirm. Click Void invitation to invalidate the existing link — anyone who still has the old email won’t be able to use it. Cornerspot confirms with “Invitation voided.”

7. The invitation is voided
Once voided, the pending invitation drops off your active Team Members list. If that person should still join, you can simply send them a brand-new invitation.

About the “Expired” badge
If an invitation link lapses before it’s accepted, the teammate shows an Expired badge next to their Invited status. When you see it, choose Resend invitation to send a fresh link — the recipient can then create a password (or sign in, if they already have a Cornerspot account) and join your team.
Tips for managing invitations
- Lost or expired email? Resend — it’s the quickest fix and keeps the same teammate row.
- Sent by mistake? Void it so the old link can’t be used, then re-invite the correct address if needed.
- These actions only appear while the status is Invited; once a teammate accepts and becomes Active, you’ll manage their access with role changes, suspend, or revoke instead.
